Community

King Business Interiors is committed to giving back to the community. Through unique and widely supported programs, more than 20 organizations have received financial or in-kind support with the help of our clients, colleagues, friends, and family.

Connecting the Dots

We provide free used office furniture to nonprofit and charitable organizations in Central Ohio through Connecting the Dots, an environmentally friendly program created by King Business Interiors. King Business Interiors "recycles" the used office furniture from client companies and connects the available furnishings with organizations in need. This program saves our clients money by eliminating furniture disposal costs, keeps durable materials from going to our local landfills, and provides much-needed resources to nonprofits so that they can serve the community.

Central Ohio nonprofit organizations in need of office furnishings may request to receive assistance from King Business Interiors. Please contact us and provide the name, size, mission, and contact information for your organization. Please include information that describes the impact you have on the community. We will contact you to learn more about your organization and needs. Free furniture is provided on an "as-available" basis and at the sole discretion of King Business Interiors. Create for a Cause

Since 2003, King Business Interiors, Inc. has hosted a silent auction to benefit a nonprofit organization in our community. The silent auction features over 100 creatively decorated ceramic plates designed and painted by clients, colleagues, friends, and family.

In 2007, with the support of many, this event raised more than $11,000 for Recreation Unlimited, which provides outdoor camps, sports, and other recreational opportunities for children with disabilities.

The 2008 "Create for a Cause" event will be held on December 5, 2008. Please check back for more information.
